Welcome

Welcome! I am really glad to have you join us.

Great public manners are mostly based on gradual progression and consistent, smart practice. It can be hard to know exactly where, when & what to practice though!

That’s why for this course, we took over 170 individual video clips of over a dozen dogs working in different environments.

So we can really show you how to gradually advance skills … and in how many different places you can train!

The course is structured by exercise.
Each section teaches a specific skill and shows you how to advance the skill throughout environments of increasing difficulty.

You can either pick specific skills to work on, or go through all of them!
Just two notes:

  • We recommend everyone starts with the food engagement skills, as they will be useful for any other exercises
  • As you progress through one section, do not skip steps. The lessons are in order of difficulty, and you should only advance this gradually!

In general, dogs do really well with learning multiple things at once and it can also keep training interesting! So don’t be afraid to work e.g. on the first lesson of mat work at the same time as the first lessons of heeling… it will make training fun and interesting 🙂
