Note how Rufus and his mom worked through 3 different distraction levels in this one setting.

This is a perfect setup in which the difficulty is increased gradually – always carefully enough that the dog can be successful.

1. Inside with the garage door closed
2. Inside with the garage door open
3. Inside with the garage door open and the x-pen “bulging out”. (Brilliant!)
